Duke Sullivan has over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, working both sides of the table as a retailer and developer/owner, and has been involved in the development, brokerage and ownership of retail real estate. During his 14-year tenure at The Home Depot, he developed new stores in the Southeast, New York, Baltimore/Washington and Puerto Rico. Subsequently, Duke served as a senior vice president of retail development at Colonial Properties Trust before eventually teaming up with some of his former The Home Depot colleagues to develop properties and provide brokerage, development and retail services to owners and retailers.
At Retail Property Advisors, Duke brokers acquisitions of retail properties, negotiates and restructures major tenant leases, and provides other real estate and development services. He also focuses on surplus and dispositions of retail properties.
Duke has developed shopping centers and brokered transactions with Walmart, Publix, PetSmart, Kohl’s, The Home Depot, Office Depot and other national retailers. He is the master broker for the PGA TOUR Superstore and has represented 2nd & Charles, a Books-A-Million company, in Georgia.
Duke received his Juris Doctorate from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
