A 35-year veteran of the real estate industry, Bruce Hamous has extensive experience in commercial appraisal, development, finance, brokerage and foreclosure services. Prior to joining RPA, he served for eleven years as vice president of NAI Capital. There Bruce specialized in commercial real estate brokerage with a concentration in multi-family land development and retail, office and industrial leasing and sales, resulting in over $500 million in closed transactions.

Bruce has brokered multiple shopping center transactions and worked with many notable companies such as Chase Bank, Living Spaces, The Home Depot, McDonald’s, Walmart, Wells Fargo, Starbucks, Shea Homes, Pardee Development, Jiffy Lube and other national retailers and home builders.

Prior to joining NAI, he practiced real estate as Vice President at Westcord Commercial Services in Westlake Village, CA. Earlier in his career, Bruce founded two businesses: Universal Foreclosure Services Inc., where he served as president and CEO, and Hamous Investments, a brokerage and financial company.

Education

Bruce received his Bachelor of Science degree (Cum Laude) from the University of Houston with a major in real estate finance. In 2005, he earned his CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member), which is a widely recognized expert in commercial real estate.

Memberships and Associations

Bruce has been involved with many real estate and civic organizations throughout his career. Bruce has also served on the Ventura County Consolidated Oversight Board for the cities of Moorpark and Simi Valley, California as well as on the City of Moorpark Planning Commission for 14 years. Dedicated to the betterment of society, Bruce has been a member of the Rotary Club of Moorpark, California, and has received three Paul Harris Fellows in recognition of his charitable contributions. He holds real estate brokerage licenses in California, Georgia and Florida.

Previously, Bruce served as an air traffic control operator for the United States Air Force and the Federal Aviation Administration. He served on the Ventura County Aviation Advisory Commission for eight years.
